We're Always Looking for Help

Lands and Waters South focuses its work on schools, but is open to partnering with other non-profit institutes such as daycare centers, libraries, and religious institutions. We are always looking for new partnerships, so please contact us!

Our work is funded through a combination of grants and private donations and we rely heavily on volunteers to implement our projects. If you'd like to volunteer, please contact us. We are always looking for people to help with weeding, planting, watering, mulching, writing grants, and fundraising, to name just a few tasks. Individuals or groups are welcome, and no one is too young or too old to join in!

Please let us know if you have ideas for funders or partners who could help us with our projects, including individuals, local businesses, national corporations, or foundations.

Our current partners include:
Seawell Elementary School
Frank Porter Graham Bilingue
Eno Valley Elementary School
The Unity School
Mi Escuelita
Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools

A special thanks to our past funding partners:
Orange soil and Water
The Jandy Ammons Foundation

Captain Planet Foundation
Lowes Toolbox for Education
